Moxie is a European delivery firm that builds exclusively on OutSystems — the enterprise platform I spent a decade running as the customer. Now I sit on the other side of that table, leading Moxie's expansion into the United States: the go-to-market, the first US enterprise relationships, and the work of translating a senior Portuguese engineering culture for American buyers in regulated industries.

2023–2024
Directed product strategy and technical infrastructure for a civic SaaS platform processing 22M+ records daily at 99.99% availability. Partnered with sales to grow the base from 6 to 184 government contracts and revenue from $125K to $2.9M in fifteen months, and ran the teams on EOS.
2021–2023
Co-founded a healthcare staffing firm and scaled it from $1.5M in year one to $11M in year two at a 26% margin by building the operational machine — tech, compliance, payroll, credentialing — that made rapid growth profitable. More than 20 hospital systems served. Full Joint Commission accreditation earned in May 2023, with zero deficiencies.
2017–2023
Led technology strategy and delivery across a portfolio of regulated public-sector SaaS platforms built on OutSystems: INTELLEO, law-enforcement range and armory management; PetChamp, citizen-facing animal welfare compliance for Florida agencies, which operates today as PetParent; and ShotsFired, an active-shooter detection program that met its engineering bar but never went to market. The portfolio won its agencies through competitive RFPs and held 100% client retention through re-bids. The same process-before-technology method took clear-to-close at Champions Mortgage from past thirty days to fifteen. Stayed on as CTO through the 2019 eight-figure private equity sale of ProChamps and the parent's rebrand from Community Champions to Community Solutions Partner, and the transition that followed.
2015–2020
Rebuilt a legacy operation as ProChamps 2.0 on OutSystems, scaling the property registration platform from 44 to more than 300 municipalities at 99.99% uptime while recognized revenue grew roughly tenfold, from about $800K to $8.4M. Cut release cycles from four months to three weeks. The platform's stability carried the company to an eight-figure private equity exit.

Built the operating side of a retail startup from scratch — the store, the team, hiring, SOPs, and an ATF-compliant point of sale — scaled it to $3.5M in annual retail revenue, and carried it through its 2017 sale to B&H Police Supply.
2006–2008 · 2010–2015
Started at seventeen with JD Consulting, doing technology consulting for local Michigan companies while still in school — the first formal version of the work I do now, and where the JD mark comes from. Then the University of Michigan Medical School, from 2010 to 2015: front-line technical support, then managing the support operation for Medical School Information Services. Everything I believe about systems started with a ticket queue.
